Performance air filters are treated with oil which means dirt and other particles can easily stick to the oily material. Since our pre-filters are made of a dry polyester mesh for filtraition, harmful dirt and debris will simply bounce off, allowing only clean air to flow through the air filter!

We recommend changing your pre-filter every 6,000 to 12,000 miles. Your pre-filter may stay fully intact and usable, however, the water repellent feature will become less effective over time and use. Our pre-filters are sold affordably so that our customers can replace their pre-filters with ease. Riding conditions and the extent in which you use the product can also effect the lifetime of your pre-filter. 

Installing a FILTERWEARS will not result any significant airflow or horsepower loss. Our pre-filters are made from a polyester mesh specifically designed for filtration. Our pre-filters will actually help maintain your vehicle’s horsepower and airflow levels by protecting the integrity of the air filter.

Installing a FILTERWEARS is a cheap and easy way to prevent water from getting into your engine. Our pre-filters are treated with hydrophobic finish designed to repel water. The water repellent feature is extremely effective when driving through wet conditions such as rainstorms, mud, and puddles. (Please note: "water repellent" does not mean "water proof.")

No. The water repellent feature is accomplished using a special hydrophobic treatment that cannot be duplicated by spraying an aftermarket water repellent solution. Water repellent sprays will clog the small micron openings on your pre-filter that allows air to flow into your engine resulting in lost horsepower and fuel efficiency.

In order to provide you with a quality customer experience, we ship your order directly from our facility right to you! We do not use a third party warehouse to ship our products.

We prepare and package all orders to be shipped out within 24 hours of purchase (Monday-Friday). If you placed your order on the weekend, please allow until the following Monday for your order to ship out. Average delivery time is 3-5 business days for all domestic orders. 

Yes, we provide international shipping to most countries, however, some locations we simply cannot service. Please proceed to checkout to see if your location is eligible for shipping. Shipping cost may vary depending on location.

Yes. All returns must be made within 30 days of delivery. In order to receive a full refund, the item must arrive back to us in its original condition.

If the reason for return resulted from an error that we made, we will cover the cost of the return. If the reason for return resulted from a customer error (e.g. bought the wrong item), than the you must arrange your own return shipping.

If you have received a damaged or defective product, please email us with pictures and details within 30 days of your order. All damaged and defective goods are eligible for a full refund or replacement to the customer. (NO RETURN NECESSARY)
